The Router works with the Samantha module to provide wireless control of the Robots in TeleOp mode.
I never learn to stop checking prices after the fact. Of course once I got home, I saw that TigerDirect has the same router for $22.49. I was telling myself that shipping would make up the difference, but being the curious type, I had to check the delivered cost. As it turns out TigerDirect is one of the few companies that doesn't scalp you on shipping and we could have saved a few bucks.
I'm not upset though, it is good to have spent the time setting this up today with Jonah. We need to keep moving through the many ancillary steps that surround the robot design and construction.
The original idea was to place a plastic sheet in the internal slot to serve as a mounting plate for the electronics. That idea was humming until the bearing problem was noticed. The shoulder bushings that are used with the Tetrix channel don't have support with the 8020 shape.
